I finished residential treatment but don’t feel quite ready to live alone, what do you recommend?
We recommend sober living as a great choice to transition from a treatment program back into the real world. While sober living can be a little bit more costly that just returning to your old life, it is not as expensive as relapsing and having to start the process over again. We have found that our sober living environment is perfect for women that are looking to build self-confidence, start making stronger, healthy relationships with women, find their passions and grow in their sobriety. A sober living offers just the right amount of support, comfort and family feeling to help you stay on the right track in early sobriety.
Why is your facility only for women?
We have other sober living environments that cater to the needs of men and we have found that we have more success when the houses are single-sex. We believe that we have created a safe environment that is free of distractions within the house and women can focus on their recovery process wholly. Many of the 12 step meetings attended by house residents are co-ed and many of the residents work; participate in volunteer work or other activities that are also co-ed.
I’m self-employed can I work from the house?
Yes, we are able to cater to the individual needs of each of our residents and have an in-house home office with supplies that can be utilized by all of the residents. Our house is located in beautiful south Orange County and we have tried to provide all of the comforts of a real house to make you feel right at home.
I’m not from the area, will I be able to find everything I need around the house?
Yes, absolutely, we familiarize all of our residents with the area and can even provide transportation services and other guide-type services to individuals seeking this type of help. We also have access and connections with nearby activities to ensure that all of our residents are able to participate in their passions and pick up new healthy activities native to the area.
